Ms. Safi was appointed to the Tax Appeals Tribunal in June 2023. She is a Finance and Administration Practitioner with over 13 years of cognate experience in budgeting, treasury management, tax planning, external audit relations, financial strategic planning, investment management, policy formulation and implementation, transport management along with assets and human resources management.

Before joining the Tribunal, she worked with Ropani International Group of Companies a company with diverse portfolio across the East African Region rising through the ranks from Accounts Clerk to Head, Finance/Admin.

Ms. Safi holds a Masters of Management Studies specializing in Taxation, a post graduate diploma in Financial Management from the Ugandan Management Institute and Bachelors of Science in Accounting & Finance from Kyambogo University.
