Tax Appeals Tribunal to Participate in the 10th IBFD Africa Tax Symposium

The Tax Appeals Tribunal (TAT) is honored to participate in the 10th IBFD Africa Tax Symposium, scheduled to take place from 28th to 30th May 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda.

TAT will be represented by Ms. Crystal Kabajwara, the Chairperson of the Tribunal, who will join a distinguished panel on 29th May 2025 to discuss “Effective Dispute Prevention and Resolution”. This session will delve into innovative approaches and best practices for resolving tax disputes and preventing litigation, a topic central to the Tribunal’s mandate.

The Africa Tax Symposium is a premier event that brings together tax leaders, policymakers, and academics from across the continent to examine the key issues shaping Africa’s fiscal landscape. The symposium provides a platform for thought-provoking dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of insights that contribute to the advancement of effective tax systems across Africa.
