With 19 years of comprehensive experience in legal practice, tax law and administrative justice, Ms. Rachael Kisakye currently serves as the Registrar of the Tax Appeals Tribunal, where she is committed to ensuring the fair and efficient resolution of tax disputes.
Before her current role, she worked as a Legal Officer at the Tax Appeals Tribunal in Mbale for 11 years, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research, analysis, and advocacy. Her passion for the law extends to academia, as she also serves as a part-time lecturer, where she enjoys mentoring and guiding aspiring legal professionals.
Ms. Rachael Kisakye is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda, a member of the Uganda Law Society, the East African Law Society and the Uganda Christian Lawyers fraternity. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Uganda Christian University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Law Development Centre, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. This combination of qualifications equips her with a robust understanding of both legal frameworks and business dynamics.
